One of the things we've been planning to do with Crabby Media is provide resource lists.  For example: lists of current distros, stores that sell zines, and maybe zine libraries.

What we're especially interested in doing is making these resources available as downloadable/printable PDFs so that people could, say, print them off to give away at an event or in their zine library.

So what we (ok, right now i) will be doing is following comments in the distro and store threads in order to, um, guide the guides, i guess.  I'm definitely not going to be quoting people verbatim 'cause i didn't think it'd be right to have people's names out there like that.  I'm just going to be basing updates to our lists on recent comments in the threads, if that sounds good to everyone -- i don't want this to be like Big Brother or something.  I see it more like pooling community experiences.

I've always found threads about distros on other boards to be really useful in deciding who to buy from or who to submit my zines to, but i've always wished there were an easier-to-use archive of the information.  So that's what we're going to try to provide in a format that makes it accessible even to people off-line -- thus the printable versions.
